We have gotten various errors that I have had to troubleshoot over the years. However, I have not seen an "Xfan not working" error. I do not know what would be causing that. Sorry.

Checked that out but all fans are running. It seems to be a heat issue. I was able to get it going the next time I started a shift.

First I would confirm that both of your X-motors and transducers are working through the service menu. After that start looking at the big power booster on the back of the machine.

The Xmotor tests just confirms that the hardware did not initialize.....unless I am looking at the wrong menu. I have external fans on the booster board and the X motor on the back of the machine as well as one blowing directly into the computer box

Thanks for this detail. The X wagon responds as per the instructions here so I'll give the cables a good inspection.

Hello, I have found the problem. The capacitors on the PAIB board were leaking. They have even demaged some traces and vias on the PCB and the -5V supply on the PAIB board was not working anymore. Got it working again :)

Ev, This error could be caused by any number of problems. Is there an error message in the message window before hardware initiation error? If so, what is it? A failure in any axis (x,y,z,c,theta,y-wagon,tray-wagon) could cause your symptom. Paul

The only x fan i can think of would be the x belt motor fan which is on the back of the black box sticking out of the back of the machine. If it's a heat issue then first thing to do is replace the 2 filters behind the 2 vented covers located on the
