IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC-6012/IPC-A-600 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to Compunetics, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards based in Monroeville, Pa. Compunetics is the first to receive IPC's Validation Services QML for these standards. Compunetics met or exceeded the testing requirements for board coupons and passed a three-day, on-site audit by Validation Services. Maintenance of the QML requires testing of board coupons every quarter and passing of periodic factory audits.

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC-4101 Qualified Products Listing (QPL) to Taiwan Union Technology Corporation (TUC), an electronics materials manufacturing company headquartered in Jhubei, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. TUC provides mass lamination services, copper clad laminates and prepregs to the global electronics industry. To earn the QPL, TUC successfully completed an intensive audit based on IPC's foremost standard on base materials for laminates and prepregs: IPC 4101, Specification for Base Materials for Rigid and Multilayer Printed Boards.

IPC's Validation Services Program has awarded Ventec International Group, a global electronics materials manufacturing company headquartered in Suzhou, China, a second IPC-4101 Qualified Products Listing (QPL). Ventec successfully qualified their products, VT-90H and VT-901, to specification sheet 40 of IPC-4101E, Specification for Base Materials for Rigid and Multilayer Printed Boards.

AMI is an electronics contract manufacturing company based in Winthrop, Maine and provides PCB assembly, wire harness production, and product assembly for a variety of industries. IPC's Validation Services Program announces that John Deere Electronic Solutions, a manufacturer of custom, integrated electronics components based in Fargo, N.D., has become the first OEM company to be recertified a second time to the IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML).John Deere Electronic Solutions, achieved the QML certification six years ago and this year successfully demonstrated the Class 3 level work required for recertification on two of IPC's foremost standards: IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
