I have seen this on our assemblers look in the machine and check to be sure there is no obstruction IN the down flag sensor located on the bottom of the front transport assembly.

We were told to turn on the air supply prior to turning on the power to the machine. We see this error when we forget to turn the air supply on first, you can just aknowledge the error and it will work.

Try going into the program definition screen and delete the permanent table top. Then shut down and reboot. The permanent table top will be re created upon reboot.

This is a theta axis head 2 error. Manually spin the head and make sure the bearings are loose and spinning. If not, they may need lubricated or serviced. You can also swap theta amps between the heads to see if you have an amplifier problem. Good L

A CP IV-3 is able to place 0402's very well. We do it all of the time with a CP IV-2. You need the right nozzles and feeders but no problem. I agree the ProSMT software is a pain but that's not the machine's fault. Jerry
