Hussman- I agree. Even some of the Wave soldering machine manufacturers quote High temp paint as a maintenance step. The paint step does not work well with quartz type heating elements Best regards, Cal Manncorp

I have to place the element as in the attachment. The nozzle grabs the quartz, but it is not the center of the module and I cannot recognize it correctly. How to deal with the shift? What do you treat such elements - chip, IC, other?

John: Sorry I'm tardy getting back to you on this Heat capacity = [applied voltage in volts*applied current in amps*(time ending in seconds - time start in seconds)]/(K ending - K start) The units of heat capacity are joules per mole-degree when

Ok dave so yes your right I'm going to measure the heat capacity for each bank of lamps from 3 wave solder machines so I can try and match the output of each set of lamps so I can match teh machines. As a by product I'm hoping to use it to set up a l

I used 1' of McMaster part # 8821K6 (0.110" thick). It is rated to 600F. I believe I put four layers over my profiler but I'd recommend starting with two. If you need more you can add it. Make the sock good and tight because the fabric seems to h
