john, Immerson Silver is probably a good choice. What is your opinion abt Palladium silver. Does presence of Palladium affect the reliability of the pcb surface finish

No suggestions, but we've also had problems with silver palladium. No wetting on reflow, when we tried handsoldering them, we could actually scrape off the whole finish and were left with a black unsolderable underground. It was just 1 reel, seems

Barry, We do not see much in the way of solder splatter or solder balling. We have removed some parts but in the process of doing so we remove any useful evidence really. Quite a lot of the solderable portion of the part is on the underside. Like
