A soft limit error is an error due to trying to drive the head outside it's mechanical limits. Check your X-axis program data for this part.

I think the Yamaha 84S is very similar to my Philips CSM84. head 3 cannot reach all the feeder locations. I believe feeder locations 1-3 on the front rail, and is it 41-43 on the back rail (the first 3 again) are out of range for the X axis to move

Hi Tom, You're right. I do find the second locating pin hardware. Now I got them both up/down when F3 is pressed. Thanks. I don't see any pin on the hardware and no edge clamp hardware either :-( , do you know any way that I can bypass these hardware
