I have never witnessed a "worn out" stencil in my 30+ years. Take that with a grain of salt..My environment is CM so stencil usage is somewhat limited. I have seen "coined" stencils. They look funky but some schools of thought say they work better

Hi Dustin, It happened to us once and it was something very simple. We did maintenance to the Squeegee head and the problem was that the Squeegee head cover was not put back in place correctly, so it was interfering with the Squeegee up/down movement

Good morning, Thank you for assistance. Im not so experienced with MPM maintenance. Explain me please what is the difference between squeegee down force and squeegee pressure? Squeegee pressure is set so 5-6 Kg. How can I check squeegee down fo

It's been a while but I believe the UP2000's should have a calibration for the squeegee height as well. I think you log in under the Calibrate or Maintenance then that should give you access to the menu you need. Once you find it I'm pretty sure it w

Cartridges/dispenser systems supply even paste volume to the screen. This will help provide the most consistent squeegee roll as well as paste deposition on PCB. Messier, though = much printer maintenance. Some people also like to use a caulking g

Thanks for the answers guys. I knew it had something to do with the calibration menus. It had just been so long since I had to do maintenance to an MPM printer. I had been working with DEKs and Ekras for the past 6 years.

Well the stencil in question have shield components. And this stencil sometimes doesn't even reach 10,000 strokes. As compared with stencil that does not have shield components, the life span seems to be lesser considering that same squeegee, print pr

Challenges: The basic defects that impact assembly yield are bridging, satellite solder balls, and opens (i.e. tombstones / draw bridges). There are many variables with the stencil printing process that can impact these; several of them are listed

the issue is the calibration. What you set it for has to match what it actually reads or you get the error screen at the end of every pass. If you go into the maintenance menu ( using the key next to the system button ) you can check that the pressu
