The quick frame does work well with the DEK 265, but we feel that tensioning is user dependent and introduces variation into the process on an operator to operator basis. Also, because tensioning occurs only on two sides (instead of four) this also i

Griinder, Maybe it's me, but I think what you might be saying here is that you see a reflected image of the PCB or Stencil when you and teaching the fiducials and it is interfering with the teaching routine, is that correct? If this is true it is c

Assuming you have the scale that corresponds with Board Width for center justified stencil. Formula would be: 2 x (distance to image {mm} - 368) = Board Width (setting on scale) http://www.dekhead.com/

The area in question requires more than can be stenciled, and at 50K-100K units I can't imaging how many people I would have to hire to hand dispense the material.

When you teach the fid on the PCB and the camera then changes to stencil image, is it in close physical proximity to the feature/fid you wanted or do you have to move quite a bit?

Are you seeing the stencil operational (changing state) in diagnostics? If sensor works then, look at image justification in product file...

That's a good summary and the only thing I would add to that is maybe to include an image of the land pattern in your collection. Some of these asymmetrical parts are just about impossible to provide all of the dimensions for. For instance, who want

IPC-7525 "Stencil Design Guidelines" is a good reference document to have. Here are notes from a Tessera, (a major mBGA mfg.), study- "Application Note Solder Stencil Requirement for mBGA" The stencil aperture is to be square, equal in size to the l

Paul, I've got a third-level ISO Stencil Specification procedure that I did at a past employer that I'll send you...it also deals with the DEK-265 printer (which is what we used) when I talk about frame sizes and image positioning, but you can edit i
