I am trying to change one of the trackballs on a Universal GSM since one stopped working. I tried a converter to USB and it did not work. Any suggestions?

Usually, that type of error is comming from a damage HDD Corrupted sector or something similar You can reload the firmware but don't forget to backup everything, specially the calibration & mapping files

Does anyone have some experience with AIS3500 on GSM1? It stopped to function just like that. I've opened it to check the batteries and I can see 4 status LED's blinking in a constant pattern, but I can't get any response over seial line from it...
