The principle of plasma surface treatment

Industry News | 2021-01-19 22:00:27.0

The temperature of the neutral particles is close to room temperature, which provides suitable conditions for improving the surface of the thermosensitive polymer. Through low-temperature plasma surface treatment, many physical and chemical changes occur on the surface of the material, or etching occurs, or a dense cross-linked layer is formed, or an oxygen-containing polar group is introduced to make it hydrophilic, adhesive, and dyeable Performance, biocompatibility and electrical properties can be improved.

Does hydrogen energy really work?

Industry News | 2020-11-27 02:42:44.0

Therefore, hydrogen energy will never be cool. Even if electric vehicles are not competitive at present, they will not be as popular as electric vehicles in the future. It will still be an important part of new energy vehicles. The current development areas of hydrogen energy and pure electricity are different. Pure electricity for passenger cars and hydrogen for commercial vehicles.

Difference between plasma surface treatment and corona treatment

Industry News | 2021-03-10 04:50:52.0

Plasma surface treatment is the use of plasma high-energy particles and the surface of organic materials to produce physical and skiing reactions, which can realize the activation, etching, and decontamination of the material surface, as well as the friction factors, adhesion and hydrophilicity of the materials. The purpose of performance improvement.

Will hydrogen energy vehicles eventually replace lithium batteries?

Industry News | 2020-11-27 02:40:35.0

Let me start with the conclusion that for a long period of time, liquid lithium batteries are still the main choice for vehicle power batteries. Solid-state batteries, hydrogen energy and related alternative energy sources (methanol, etc.) are still in the stage of industrial demonstration.

Low Surface Energy Coatings Rewrites the Area Ratio Rules

Technical Library | 2013-06-20 14:33:12.0

With today's consumer technologies driving the need for denser and more compact devices, the assembly process for surface mounted devices has becoming increasingly more difficult. With the mixture of components requiring a broader range of print deposition volume, various techniques are in use in an attempt to ensure consistent and appropriate paste volume is achieved. Some of these techniques include step etching a stencil locally on a targeted device, promoting electroformed smooth wall nickel stencils, through to laser cutting newer grade stencil materials. This paper focuses on the relevant attributes that affect the properties of solder paste release and introduces the effects of surface free energy with respect to key elements that make up the stencil printing process.

Effect on Microwave Plasma Surface Treatment for Improved Adhesion Strenght of Direct Copper Plating on Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Technical Library | 2016-01-07 19:13:23.0

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of plasma surface modification to improve adhesion strength between polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and electroless copper plating. PTFE is widely used in many industries because of its unique electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics. However, because of its low surface energy, it is difficult to acquire enough adhesion strength between PTFE and other substances without surface modification. Plasma is well known as one of the surface modification techniques that improve adhesion strength.
