Looking for trays to lay boards on in reflow oven

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 13 09:39:43 EDT 2019 | don_julio

Problem is I don't have a mesh belt (lesson learned). Our conveyor is pins. If I laid some scrap pcb's spanning the conveyor pins on the long dimension of the board, I'm confident it would sag. We get a bit of sag today in our 1.6mm thick boards whi

Solder balls

Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 12 10:13:10 EDT 2001 | techment

Thank you, Mr Dave. Specifically, there are tiny balls spreading on the boards ( on top of solder resists, and not encapsulated). They are not near to any land/pad or connector. I do not think they post any electrical problem. They are quite far away

large smt inductors moving in the reflow oven

Electronics Forum | Mon Feb 22 10:01:01 EST 2010 | jtsyeung

Since the inductor is electro-magnetic, that means the device is composite of coil and ferrite metal. The inductor inside the reflow oven meets with blower motors which close to the inductor and generate magnetic field. With such conditions, Lawren

Small blister, solder mask

Electronics Forum | Wed Jun 23 13:34:29 EDT 2004 | df_indy

I am four weeks into my new job, there always seems to be some issues here with PCB every week. Today while I was checking some assemblies with micro-scope, I found a lot of tiny bubbles/blisters on the board. They are just little dots if you look

Electronics Forum | Wed Jul 30 00:47:10 EDT 2014 | matusov

Hello gurus, I am a hardware designer with a small company. We are about to send a new PCB for fabrication. This board uses dozens of tiny QFN, DFN, and similar packages. As a final check I have been going through the datasheets of all these parts t
