Without getting into an electrical field promoting bone growth... As long as he is grounded through heal straps and/or wrist straps, it should be fine. Although I imagine being grounded would neutralize the "Bone Grower"

We are looking at ESD chairs in our EPROM room. Currently we are using smocks with wrist straps, this was set up before me. Is there any special or different things that needs to be done to the smocks to make them work with an ESD chair?

Antistat sprays are a waste of time and money. These sprays just soaps disolved in water that absorb moisture from the air. Your minimum requirements: Conductive floor mats and wrist straps that are properly grounded. From there, consider using

No one handling floppy disk should have a magnet on his or her wrist or in their work area. Furthermore, those with a magnetic paperclip holder on their desk should not allow floppy disks to come in close proximity to it. Since only technicians handl

Thank you for these thoughts, So Concreate floors, ESD wax, heal and wrist straps, in applicabe locations, grounded ESD mats at work stations, and smurf outfits. should do it ? 10 the the 6th 10M 10 to the 7th 100M big differance what is the target

LarryP, ESD smocks in combination with a wrist strap provide a path to ground for any charge potential. An operator wearing a smock while grounded will provide a path to ground for the chair. With an ESD chair you can have antistatic or static

For ESD control in the factory we use foot & wrist straps, and ESD smocks. We also have ESD work surfaces including ESD flooring throughout the plant. We have been using ESD chairs and now the question has come up on if and how often these chairs nee

With conductive elements, we reduce static build-up by connecting the item to the ground through a wrist strap, mat, or similar methods. With non-conducting items like paper or plastic, ionizers are used to reduce static build-up. For more on ionize

Just have everyone where a smock. Seems to do little for ESD but everyone buys into it. Finger cots will add more flare as well. Wet concrete works the best for flooring, but seems to have a tendency to dry, thus losing it conductivity. Therefore
