0201 placement by Fuji CP643 Machine

Electronics Forum | Fri Jul 27 03:45:33 EDT 2018 | robl

CP643 does place 0201s. CP6 was limited to 0402. At the turn of the millenium most 0201's were being placed by Fuji's or Pana's.

0201 placement by Fuji CP643 Machine

CP643 does place 0201's. Like I said everything has to be perfect or expect mediocre results at best. When working with smaller parts Fuji CP machines are very picky about table level, part height, and mechanical pick and place parameters.

How to avoid tombstoning in 0201 components

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 05 13:54:35 EDT 2005 | Sandeep

We are facing lot of problems with tombstoning in 0201 components. Ironically tomstoning in these components is not occuring while reflow but it is happening when we subject them to thermal cycling test. We have been investigating the cause and thoug

Placement of chips 0201 in Hanwha SM482

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this matter. We have a Hanwha SM482 machine and a series of projects involving many 0201 components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, etc.) will be carried out. Making the prototypes I noticed that there is

Via in Pad Production

Hi, We are thinking about starting to use via in Pad, for both BGA and 0402 and 0201 components. Does anyone know how this would effect production. Obviously PCB production is not difficult, but this should only effect production and assembly. R

Mike: When you stated that you are looking for a different AOI to replace GSI Lumonics because of 0201 solder paste inspection. Does that mean that you have a 1X scanner and it is not giving you reliable results? Have you tried the 2X scanner from G

Agilis Feeders

With regards to feeders handling 0201's, how does this feeder (as well as other manufacturers feeders) keep the pick position accurate? The feeders I've used have some play between the tape and the sprocket, enough so that if I tug at the cover tape

Thanks for your input. Have you or anyone considered CyberOptics SE300? How does it works for small solder paste deposits (i.e. 0201)?

Celldude, What kind of parts do you use for SSD? More specifically does your company use 0402, 0201, BGA's, etc? Also are the results of using SSD better than the normal process of applying soder paste? Also if anyone else uses SSD, what are your ex
