The assembly is HASL finished. The colour of the solder mask is green, ( sorry I dont know the technical name ).The flux is No Clean (Koki JS3000)which is seeing a preheat temp between 90-100degCel. The solder pot is set at 250degCel and is 63/37.

Sounds like a problem I ran into recently. In my case it was a problem with via holes which were used as test points on our in-circuit tester. My problem was caused by moisture in the boards. My cure was a 24 hour bake at 100 deg c.

Baking it's key for success on this task. Water evaporates @ 100 deg. C. Use that temperature, or higher, for that process and your problems or concerns can be taken care of. Be wise on your cleaning process, otherwise this could lead to failures too

1. Can X-Ray Inspection System damage the EPROM OR OTP during inspection after Reflow? 2. At 300 degree Centigrade, program in the EPROM OR OTP disturb. Is that true? 3. Sometimes, if some ICs couldnt program first time then I put that IC in oven

Hi, We power down our reflow oven over the weekend, but before that we let the heating zones cool to approx 100degC. Its something we've always done as we were told to do it when we bought the line. Does anyone else do this, and what would happen if

I need to cure conformal coat on a 19" x 15" board. The material needs 7 - 10 minutes at 100deg C, but I have limited floorspace so I'm looking for an oven with about 36 inches heated length and 18 or more inch wide belt. The material we are consider

Check with BTU. They have dryers in the length you need. Good luck! | | I need to cure conformal coat on a 19" x 15" board. The material needs 7 - 10 minutes at 100deg C, but I have limited floorspace so I'm looking for an oven with about 36 inches

I experienced assembled boards delaminated after washed. You know...those old datecode PCBs that I was talking about a few weeks back ? I was forced to use it, and of course prior using it I've baked them. I've baked them at 125 Deg for 4 hours and/

Question. When profiling and looking at the profiles cooling rate. Over what temperature range should the slope be monitored and what sort of cooling rates should be looked for. Paste supplier says no more than 6degC per sec, some components maybe lo
