Peelable Masking

Electronics Forum | Tue May 10 16:53:21 EDT 2005 | jdengler

For dots this size I have applied a thin coat of Chemtronics CM8, let set 10 mins then waved. The preheaters finished the cure before the board reached the wave. You just have to drill into the heads of who applies the mask that thinner is better!

Underfill

I use Namics 8437-2 for micro BGA and flip chips. Will work for QFN or MLF after soldering. Flows well under gaps as thin as 0.001". Cure in 5-10 min at 150 C. Rock solid product. Is bit expensive. Is from Japan.

How SMT Line Change over is measured?

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 26 09:07:12 EST 2013 | emeto

Stephen, Changeover is the time we are not running the line, but we are changing for another product. Job run on the other hand depends on the quantity you have to build. For some manufacturers running the job will take weeks or months. For other it

Mixing No-clean and water soluble processes

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 25 15:24:58 EST 2010 | jdumont

We use the OM-5100 and wash it with relatively good results. Just dont let it sit longer than a few days before wash. We've used Zestron AC200 and A-250 in a batch cleaner set to 140 wash temp for 8-10 min @ the recommended concentrations. We have h

How to measue SMED at SMT

3d printing Quad feeder rollers

10mins to print an 8mm wheel. Experimenting with both Ninja Flex, and Ninja Semi-Flex, I think the Flex is probably going to be the winner though. Had to upgrade our filament feeder on the printer to use either of them. Totally worth it though. Not s

SPI Programming

Electronics Forum | Fri Mar 08 09:52:53 EST 2019 | emeto

Rob, I have done it different ways. For the centroid you can do offline CircuitCAM or Valor or even pure Excell. I have used even pick and place machines files to extract data for AOI/SPI programming. These locations and coordinates are already there

ASSCON VP450

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 29 20:41:24 EDT 2024 | bsziszi

It is normal to have a longer heat up time when you power on the machine. Then the cycle time depends on your board mass and oven settings. (We have a bigger Ascon oven and the cycle time after the initial heat up is between 5-10 min @ 50% ETR). If y

My regards to everyone. I have to agree with previous message. I've written macro in excel to modify protel pik file to whatever form I need (and I need PCB file for MYDATA) Takes about 5-10min to come up with workable program. the only problem tha
