Hi guys, This stubborn conveyor (inline smt 1m 2 stage) keeps popping off its track. I have tried to replace the old belt, turn the new belt around, tighten it as much as I can, but it keeps coming off the little wheels as shown in the picture. D

I'm not understanding what roller with closed sides you are referring to. My edge roller bearing (brass color) has a lip on the side. The middle roller bearings (silver) have a slightly bigger lip. These are the roller bearing shown on the manufact

Maybe the pin (?) with wheels on the ends of the belt bent? Can they be rotated 180 degrees?

Thank you for the answers. All the wheels are spinning. I have attached a video of it popping off. I need to count the spacers on a track that doesn't pop off and compare.

Bad belt? I know it's a new one, but stranger things have happened. Have you tried swapping belts from one side to the other?

I think it is the belt. Looking at the video it appears to come off just after the splice goes around the pulley, so probably a bad splice. Jerry

Is the wheel that drives the belt in alignment? I assume all the bearings are turning. We've had bearings in the past be on the edge of seizing in our end pulley's. Tightening too much could cause it to turn harder, causing the belt to jump off. Coul

Yes something like that.ie a higher edge. Looking at your original picture I assumed no edge. If that doesn't work, then it is time to change the belt. But do check the frame with a straight edge. you may find a little twist or bend that may not be v

The question should be how does it ever stay on track. Replace the roller with one with closed sides and you wont have a problem. THe belts tension probably varies because of age and wear along its length, thus working for a few feet and then going o
