If there is no option to send the proper data to the MTU it sounds like your line editor is configured incorrectly. You will still be able to send programs and the such but like you said you would never notice it until you had to send the proper back

There is a sensor that monitors the temperature of the x and y1/y2 axis on the machine. You have a possible problem with the x temp sensor. There is also a temperature board that is located in the leg area below the keyboard. I am attaching a picture

The so-called "drivers" are used to control each servo - control boards at the back of the machine. There are several (8?). If one is "worn out" and has no strength to move the servo, maybe this is where the error comes from? They can be interchanged

No, each card in LP servo rack drives only one motor. But there is an servo cotnroller board (actually 3 of them) in the VME rack (where all computers are). Third one from the left(slot13) controls head2 theta and z axis. That might be a cause of you

Error is occurring during move to fiducial 1 position (from board stop position)? Or during move to board stop position (from park position)? What is error displaying onscreen? Did you also just replace belt(s)?
