Anyone know of a place to get the vacuum pads for the traverser of the LCS units? Assembleon want over $100 each for a ring of ESD foam! ! ! ! If I can't find a reasonable source I guess I will try to make them myself. James jseagle@zworld.com

Could someone tell me the recommended board spacing when going through reflow? I've heard a couple different things so I was wanting to get other opinions. Thanks Bob

Hi, you may want to try some of the following: Chip Inductors Transistors Diodes Logic Vregs I know of a few companies that may be looking for representation in this area, of which I can e-mail you the details. Best regards, Rob.

What about things like tweezers, vaccuum pens, and hand held optical tools? I mean jewelers loupes and magnifing glasses. You might want to carry two classes. Economy models at low cost and higher end more expensive ones. Stephen

Hi, Does anyone know the rules to calibrate a feeder without any expensive jig test? We want to do that by our operators. Does anyone know the procedure? Thanks

You will want the square in this case to be .013" with rounded corners (slight overprint). I do not see why you would need a type 4 paste for this. the aperture as it sits should release well but obviously there is something wrong.

Has anyone here had direct experience using this oven for Lead Free? I am considering purchasing one, but I want to be certain it will handle low volume lead free work. Pete

Thanks guys, thats pretty much what we have done as well, just wanted to check that it's ok to do it this way rather than do a full FMEA for a product. We'll know for sure in a couple of weeks when we hand in the PPAP. cheers
