Yea, boot device fail is just the hard drive dead most likely. Its looking for the system files and cannot find them. You can prob buy a replacement hard drive with the necessary files on it from the supplier if you have no backup...

Does anyone use the side cameras on the YesTech or Mirtec AOI systems? If so, how are you using them? Automated side inspection or as a tool to manually evaluate calls? Thanks James

Ken contacted Asymtek. They stated that urethane and acrylic can be used in the same machine provided that he thoroughly flush the system with solvent.

Set "FP" mode to 1 in the setup menu 1. It won't fix your problem, but it might help a little. What kind of board support system are you using?

Send your board files to any pick and place mfg and they will do a throughput analysis for you with your data. Just be careful how they configure the machine. Make sure they all configure the machine the same with respect to feeders and tool tips....
