Does anybody have access to an Electrovert Atmos 1000CR schematic? Ours has been removed from the manual ---and we could use information regarding the change from 480 to 220v for a different facility. Thanks in advance, Bill

Hi all, When we are producing A gold Plated PCB Then the Prob Of Dry soldering is coming Profile temps are 130, 150, 180,and 220 top & 215 bottom.Then what are the other causes or Precautions may be taken.

what kind of temps is the board seeing? I noticed zones at 220 and 215 respectively could you be running too cold in the oven? Russ

Well so much for being too hot! Try kicking your max temp up to 220, I wouldn't extend the duration however. I would almost start to think that this QFP has a pb free finish. Let us know what happens Russ

I have increased my peak to 220, and Flow is better, but it still not quite a good fillet all around. The solder tends to kinda "bunchup" at the toe of the lead. If part is Pb free, would this affect adhesion and or flow?

IPC 782 has some info in it by package type. This is usually dictated by each component manufacturer. All SMT parts should be able to withstand 220 C for at least 60 sec. Russ

Hi Patrick, For UP 78 the best profile is also the easiest. Straight ramp to 220-225 1-2 degrees C per second TAL 45-60 seconds drop it staight off The Tech bulletin says the exact same thing. Former Alpha Guy here
