Check that the new vacuum tubing isn't restricting the theta rotation. It can "wrap" around the Midas head, if not secured properly.

Hey everyone, We use a MyData MY12 machine and we are experiencing a problem with the Midas head. I recently replaced a torn vacuum tube that goes on the zfib card. The machine worked perfectly for a day and a half but now MY12 has completely stoppe

I am assuming you are initializing each motor individually through the service program. The z motor theta is hard to see so I put a mark on it with a colored marker so you can watch if the midas tool nozzle is actually turning or not. You should be a

Thanks all. I didn't check any further as I dont want to mess the midas head any further especially because I'm not sure how to take it out to work on it.

Part library is big enough problem. Whatever machine you pick you will be able to transfer XY, Theta coordinates as well as reference designators. This will help in programing a little, but this is all you will gain. all packages, vision algorithms

Start by checking cables. Odd that the C-motor would initialize, but, then, theta fails when you move the Z-motor. Sounds like something's got a loose connection somewhere. Possibly in the connector going into the C-motor. If that's a no-go, try
