When I print a message on the forum, the rightmost part of the page is truncated and the last half dozen letters or so do not print. Is there a way to print just the message without the menus on the left side? Thanks, Bob

250-260ish seems a little on the high side ? Depending on the board density and components 230-245 should suffice. Again time above is usually preferred between 30-90secs but again it really depends on the PCB Dave

If you are using standard alloy and flux types and you are within the ballpark of 30-90 seconds above liquidous you should be fine. As I said above unless your profile is grossly off, it is not the cause of your voids.

I am running a FGL1. Syringes can be bought from Fuji. One thing you should be aware of, the FGL1 needs the glue to be hand packed (from bulk) and spun in a centerfudge. The glue is hard to find bulk. Geez I thought we had the only FGL1. Email m

The main cause of voids is your flux out-gassing during reflow. Try a little "knee" or slight soak in your thermal profile to dry out the volatiles a bit. Typical soak ranges from 130 deg. C to 170 deg. C for around 30-90 seconds.

Sorry, what I meant was that they don't provide a duration for that liquidus + 20C value that I've seen bantered about here and on TechNet. They only provide the same stock time above liquidus of 30-90 that they've always used. I'd like to see refe

Gentlemen, Does anyone have any failure information on IRC, CHP2-100-R500F (5 OHM, 2W, 1%) resistors. We have experienced two failures on the same circuit board where the metalization on the component separated from the component causing an open ci
