| Has anyone had the experience of losing components after they have been placed by the HSP 4796 because of table movement. I've worked on the 4760s, 4780s, and 4785. I don't know if this is a problem or not. We are trying to determine if this a poss

Universal 4796 HSP Users & 0402's

Verifying pick height is a good start. Are you using the proper nozzle (81) and feeder (yellow)? How was the comp lib created? If you continue to have any problems, I would suggest copying an 0402 from the master library. You can also call UIC's tech

Thanks for the link Dave, but it doesn't show a P/N for a 201 nozzle (unless I'm blind). I guess it's a big UIC secret. Brian

Vacuum Nozzles

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 10 20:20:30 EDT 2004 | M.L. Feather

Is there a way to have one nozzle on the HSP Chipshooter 4796 to use a higher force of vacuum than the other nozzles? For instance, an 8x4 embossed feeder has components that are wedged hard into the plastic and cannot be pulled out with regular vacu

HSP 4796B

Electronics Forum | Mon Oct 31 18:54:56 EST 2005 | PWH

Our Universal HSP 4796B is throwing nozzles completely out of heads near where the cam-arms/plates (not sure what to call them?) push them back in to the top, parked position after use. My first thought is that the cam arms have become out of toler

SMT component mis-aligned

Electronics Forum | Mon Feb 21 13:57:37 EST 2005 | JB

Start by verifying the component definition, the thickness is critical. HSP 4796 uses nozzle 81 for 0402's. Make sure is using the right nozzle. If you need to, use the autoteach function to physically teach the dimensions of it, thickness included.

Magnetized HSP Nozzles

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 19 15:33:49 EST 2004 | J Smithj
