Tim, 1. You dont need the vacuum verify if the quadalign is working properly. If you have the part quad-aligned and dont have alignment type at 0 it will never 'not' place a part. More or less...the vac verify was needed for the chucking machine (3c)

I would check the following: 1. Make sure the head can move in all axis including z and theta by physically moving each. 2. Check the voltage from the main power supply which is located in the middle of the machine on the top of the main board asse

Hi everybody This week I was creating a new program by means of saving a successfull existing one under a new name with "UTILITIES/Data Base Utilities/Select/Copy/Delete Board Program" on CC7.54, to seize useful parts without having to teach them aga

Here is a couple of things to look at: 1. Make sure the boards are plugged into the correct position. Also just leave out the transport card to see if its hanging up the machine. The transport board should be the board all the way to the right. 2. M

I have 3 used Quad 4Cs and the nozzle changer on one machine never worked. I decided to troubleshoot it this week. I repaired the changer by changing a defective optical sensor but I still get error 17 when I try a run-step nozzle 1, 2 or 3. Error 17

We have been having a recurring error on one of our Quad 4Cs. When it picks up the first of 8 47uF SMT capacitor it stops with a limit error. If we do 2 consecutive function 30s, the problem goes away until the next board. The first function 30 re

Craig, I'd be really hesitant in pursuing this method for a TQFP. Remember, most SMD's are rated for a maximum rising slope of around 4C/Sec. Immersing a fragile TQFP in a hot wave of molten solder will probably exceed this ramp up rate. Besides thi

An explanation that could possibly help (depending on the exact code on these parts) is on http://www.marsport.demon.co.uk/smd/res.htm. The author of this ends the page with a "Personally, I'd check with an ohm-meter!". Daan Terstegge http://www.smt

Hello, This is from my old documents....hope it helps. I would first try mod code 53 = 2 first.....if the machine is a 2C. The motor was known for causing this problem after getting old. These are all resolutions for motor error 4. Step Potential P
