Tell us what the rest of the descriptions are. for example SMD can mean surface mount device or if they are decribing a tant cap it probably means "D" or 7343 package, I see diodes labeled as SMB, SMA, etc.. which also relates to size. So who knows?

A minimal ventilation rate is 0.05 cfm per square foot, as recommended by the 1998 International Mechanical Code. However, this may not take into account other potential building contaminants from such sources as propane forklifts, which require a mi

Can anyone tell me if there is a reference for smt component height specs on the bottom side of a board, which will also go through wave soldering. A current design I am reviewing has tant caps(7343) and a crystal on the back side. Should I only be

Probably every shop on the planet uses QC-types differently. They inspect boards for us, based on a sampling plan and work instructions for that board. When they find a problem, they put a little adhesive arrow on the board that points to the probl

Need to know from your experience a set of smt equipment for low volume manufacturing (approx. 800K parts/yr). Types to handle are standards i.e., 0404-7343, soic's, plcc's, pqfp, tsop, soj, BGA, chip res. smt conn. I would like to know a recommende

If you have a board that you've run several times, now you run it and like before all settings are the same, but now you have 0603's randomly skewed or an inch or so away from their intended pad (as if popped up in the air), or an occasional 7343 cap

Actually 0603 is 8mm x 4mm pitch. 0201 and 0402 are 8mm x 2mm pitch. 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210 are 8mm x 4mm pitch. Tant Caps 3216 & 3528 packages are 8mm X 4mm pitch. 6032 and 7343 are 12mm X 8mm pitch. ICs, Diodes, Transistors are various sizes and d
