James: I believe Delmat is a proprietary product. Check with some of the solder fixture fabricators in the archives. Continuing, I would not select knowingly Delmat as a board stiffener. It's a composite material similar to oriented strand board

Jimmy, We've been soldering tin plated components and Ni/Sn (100% Tin) boards with leaded solder in the 80's in hirel and military applications. We never experienced reliability issues with the mechanical or electrical properties of the solder joint

Looking for CTE and young's modulus values for aluminum backed PCB for solder joint predictions. The data sheets are a bit sparse, and the weighted average method somehow doesn't feel appropriate. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
