Seho maxi wave 3240 should be considered as well. Invented full tunnel nitrogen systems that have lower operating costs and provide yields unlike what can be achieved by air wave systems.

step stencil design

Looking for better design information than is contained in IPC 7525A. Specifically the minimum trough width and length of the step to achieve the necessary paste reduction.

I have that article. While some of the information is helpful, there is no direction as to the length and width of the step to achieve blade deflection to reduce paste.

Potting/Conformal Coating

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 25 09:18:05 EST 2016 | tombstonesmt

Have you looking into acrylic? We've had huge success with boards with stringent keep out areas while achieving proper thickness. Acrylic requires a thinner or cutting agent to perform repair/rework. -TSS

Does pot temperature affects quality of the solder joints?

Is this for a Selective Solder? If so what size nozzle do you run. I run at 315 C most of the time. You can speed up your process time and still achieve good solder fill.

Looking for AOI Development History

potting the board with epoxy will make it non repairable the same insulation effect you would achieve if you just put around the inductors some styrofoam or other sound insulator without messing with epoxy

QFN standoff, industry standard

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 01 04:50:04 EDT 2019 | sssamw

Yes, No standard.Normally QFN supplier suggest 50-75 um (2-3 mil), but it's very hard to achieve and hard to make consistent stand-off in prodution.

Faster Than Lightning!

All these generalizations are non sense. What real cph you will receive depend on many factors: - paths optimization - what number of feeders are used - what number of nozzle changes has your job - how fast is the recognition for small and big part

Thanks for the option. Might be a good resource if we cannot achieve what we're looking for.
