Yes, we did it with both the monitors (camera & normal). Used a BNC to VGA adaptor for the black & white camera.

You may have to use an adaptor board. A small board with one footprint on one side and the other on the other side. Do not assume that the pin outs of the two parts are the same. I have seen smaller parts with a different pin out than the bigger part

I don't know who's driving the bus there, but I personally would just tell my boss that it couldn't be done without: (1) compromising the quality and reliability of the product (2) increasing the cost to manufacture the product (3) increasing the scr
