If you update the MyData TP machine with the latest version of the TPSys software you can use Agilis feeders (and magazines) on a TP machine. Of course, they will charge you to do that.

We traded in old vibes for this thing and wished it was around long ago. The savings in lost parts and set up time makes it worth it alone.

Something to consider is the ability to pick from 2mm tape if you're going be placing 0402s. Quads can't really do it (at least they couldn't do it about 6 months ago when we inquired), but you can program two feeder locations for the same feeder and

We actually ran production boards on Mydata and Universal Advantis. The Mydata machines software was very command line oriented which I thought was strange but they said they had no intention of upgrading it. The Mydata placement accuracy was superb.
