Larry, My lines are running ENTEK boards all the while. Currently, we used Kester R-252 solder paste. We found voids! Now we are evaluating the Alpha Metal UP78-M. I've been told that the better flux due solve the voids problem, especially whe

I recently purchased a cleaner. I have made great efforts to find a Flux that will not cause this closed loop cleaner to foam. The last was a Neutral WS flux from Alpha Metals but it still foams. This foaming is happening after wave solder.

I'd heard that Alpha did paste reclamation but just assumed they only offered the service for customers using their paste. Hmmmm, it's worth a call, anyway. Thanks for the contact.

Personally I would go for one alloy it just makes it all simple to control. I have only used tin/silver and tin/copper so far with good process results. Reflow is relatively straightforward, I have had more shorts with wave on tin/copper. To date I
