Tony Although I agree in principle with Dean that 45 Degrees would be ideal, most of the squeegees I have worked with have been 60 Degrees to the stencil surface. This seems to work best with metal squeegees when printing HASL boards, because the sl

Hi all, * Defect : termial to terminal touching btw two melfs body that created short circuit. * Clearance : 0.8mm btw two melfs body. * Size melf : diameter=2.4mm to 2.7mm, length=4.8mm to 5.2mm * Stencil opening : "v" shaped to minimise component

we have a variety of products which we build and manufacture and build on our site, 90% of which go over the wave solder. What I would like to know is when designing a WSC how do I know what the correct angle of the aperture is in relation to the wav

Solder Printing Stencil design

I have the following questions with regards to the solder printing stencil design : 1) Is the Electro-polish process recommended for laser cut stencil ? 2) Should the aperture walls be slanted at an angle or straight wall, i.e. trapezoidal openin

Can't agree more than moving over to Homebase apertures, But ensure that the cut back angle is correct,to acute of and angle will leave you with an inadequate contact area fot the terminations on the chip components and you will start seeing insuffic

Guys A question regarding design rules of a WSC.We are currently running a high volume product, and as usual the design layout is as such where half the through hole connectors are perpendicular to the wave, and surprise, surpise the other half are'n
