I am wondering what options are out there for running 36 to 40 inch long pcbs. What machines are you using?

SJ Inno Tech comes to mind also I think Samsung sells the large board printers. you will have to check with them

As I know, some PCB manufacturer can make 1200mm (47") and longer boards now. If you didn't get satisfied answer from here, try ask your PCB or PCBA supplier

Sounds like you want to buy a custom made SMT machine.. Your re-flow would be a nightmare to program. most of the machines ive seen have a maximum working footprint of 29.5" and that is deemed an "option" so not standard for the machine capability.

How are you reworking high mass LED pcb's?

Are you reflowing them and they are coming out of the oven bad? If so, what kind of oven are you using? What kind of LEDs? What kind of solder? Mass of substrate? Have you ran a profiler through your oven and compared the plot to the solder's spec

Hi Bruce, We are a CM aswell and I can sympathise with your situation but you will have to advise the customer that you have issues with this board finish and recommend an alternative. If they are exempt why are they supplying you with Leadfree Boar
