Hi, I have struck a problem with the X axis on my Juki 740. As soon as I "home" the machine the X driver displays the code "961" Does anyone have any ideas as to a solution for this problem? Thanks!

The PLC240-AK is an IC on the stepper board used to control all the stepper driven axis. I don't remember which axis are driven by stepper motors, possibly the table (x axis). Which axis acts wierd or doesn't move when you home the machine?

sorry. re-read your post. The problem is the home sensor relative to the home pulse. You're catching the wrong home pulse. a 10mm offset sounds about right for a 360 degree error. You need 50% +/- 15 % to ensure you always zero to the same phys
