We are using Dpak package & I would like to know which is the best Aperture shape for DPAK, whether is there any problem if the Aperture of Ground pad is made of the same shape & size as the pad & what are the possible issues faced with it. Can I hav

It doesn't really matter which PnP machine you use. The correct way to cut down the variety is to use the same mfg p/n part for the whole time. Some would try to cheap by increasing the part size tolerance, but that's not the right way to do it. To

I think the main purpose of cleaning a fiducial is not to make them nice and shine, but to get a haze on them. In particular dome shaped fiducials create too much reflection from the light source and distort the image. The eraser pencil is a bandage,

How well should the fiducial be centered in the teach mode? Consider that you see the fiducial with probably 40 times magnification on the monitor. If you see the cross-hair a bit off center, then this is most likely just by a few hundreds of a milli

I'd have thought that centre search uses an algorithm to find the dead centre of a specified geometric shape. Pattern recognition basically has a picture of the area of the board selected and tries to match it with what the camera sees. ( so it doesn

I don't think that there is an industry standard on that. Each machine manufacturer will have to say what they mean. I think the first option looks at what you taught and then looks at what it sees when looking for the fiducial. The other method sou

Go to the "manual" tab and change the shape of your search area to square or whatever shape you need. When you go back to "Auto" that search area should still be whatever shape you chose while in manual mode. Hope this helps.

Our Horizon 03i developed a strange fault while I was away. The 'red square' fiducial search area has turned into a red letter box shape, slightly narrower than the actual fiducial it's trying to find. No idea who did this - anyone know how i can red
