Good suggestion. We used a program to convert our bmp to jpg. Much better.

You could always open the .bmp in Paint, and then do a "Save as..." and choose .jpg as the file type. Everyone has Paint. Unless of course you're using a Mac, but then you'd probably be a graphic designer anyways...

Took about ten seconds for me, but still, 963kb's in .bmp format. Had you saved in .jpg format, it would have been 43kb. Either way, sweet feature. Unfortunately if people upload images nearly 1mb in size, I doubt the feature will stick around long.
