I can not tell you what the actual stress limits are. I can tell you that de-paneling PCB's by hand is a very poor choice. I have seen numerous accounts of cracked caps, resistors, and LED�s due to incorrect de-paneling procedures. I would recommend

Here's what we suggest: * Keep a 5-mm space between a board edge and a ceramic capacitor. * Mount the capacitor parallel relative to the edge. * Design pads about a half of the termination. * Fixture the board when using your pizza cutter.

The 400E has a computer on the bottom of the cabinet with a a Serial/Keyboard Card installed in it. J1 pins 19/20 are the cutters transmit/receive lines on this card, they go through a transition brd and on to the Cutter/Processor brd on the side do

On some of our boards we cut the clinched leads with an old Q Corp cutter. Works fine as long as the blade is sharp and the lead isnt bent against the board. Youll know when you go to far on the clinch because the mass lead cutter will begin to start
