We use Zebra 2824 for small labels. It's a decent printer and we have been using this style for years. I don't know anything about Brady, but they might be worth looking into.

We use a Brady printer BMP21-Plus and M21-500-595-WT 1/2 inch wide labels on our stencils for stencil name and storage rack location. They have survived hundreds of washes through our ultrasonic stencil wash with chemistry. We have never had one fa
