All, I was wondering if anyone out there has designed their own feeder calibration station. I was looking at some of the calibration ones out there and they don't look to intense to make. Give me some feedback on the negatives as well to making this.

The soldering station calibration frequency varies with the manufacturer of the station and possibly with changing of heating elements.

I have seen this calibration station. however do not understand how the next stage of calibration work. does the device calibrate the feeder itself or is it a manual process? IF so what is the process to get the feeder calibration correct?

Yest you can. You need the calibration station, that you can buy or loan from ASM.

I once had a CP-4 that was not cutting the paper from the reel, and the paper was nocking off the parts. You could also check the vacuum at pick-up and placement stations. What kind of parts are they? It might be a good idea to calibrate the stati
