I have a camalot 1818 dispensing system, but it recently stopped booting up. It gets to the 197 vision initialization screen and then freezes with the message "bad command or file name could not communicate with vp" Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had this problem awhile back and it turned out to be a problem with the computer Bios settings. The battery had gone dead and the settings were set back to the default state. Luckily I have 2 of these machines and was able to reset the Bios configu

I got it working. The computer backup battery did indeed die. I obtained the bios settings from the manufacturer. Thanks

Maybe it will sound a little obsolete, but I need to know if there is or where to get a software package to be used with a CAM/ALOT dispenser for solder paste. Is there a dedicated program or any kind of gerber translator out there?

Ours are 1996 models. No special hoses needed, just attach the air hose and your ready to run.

We have 3 1818's running in our shop. The only hookups we have are air regulated to 85psi, vacuum and power. The machine will not power up with air less than 40 psi.

I sent them a couple of emails a while ago. Both were replied with an automatic answer saying they will reply soon. The 1818 is not on the list of supported models, according to their announcement from Sept.2007, the 1818 is replaced by the FX/D. I
