Check/reseat all connections on axis driver card and from driver card to step motor. On older MpM's it is common to get a bad connection on the connector for axis driver power and blow components on your driver board. Reseating these connectors mig

Thank you so much. We actually did get the machine up and running yesterday morning. We switched the theta and the transport driver cards and it is working now. We have had the connectors burn on us in the past and replaced them. I am hoping the prob

What are your preheat rates? Try a slower ramp. A typical insurance policy is to kapton tape the gold card edge. If your problem persists, try baking the boards to drive the moisture out.

We are having difficulty with thermal deformation of these AMP surface mount connectors. It is a RoHS compliant part, but only rated to withstand 245c for 10-30 seconds. Even at this temperature, we are seeing PLASTIC deforming which prevents mating

Below are a few photos of an ongoing issue we are having with 1 pwb style. Some of the pads appear to have contamination that appears after the selective solder step. The joints are extremely hard to rework - almost impossible. We had the joints anal

Start by checking cables. Odd that the C-motor would initialize, but, then, theta fails when you move the Z-motor. Sounds like something's got a loose connection somewhere. Possibly in the connector going into the C-motor. If that's a no-go, try
