Hi ya'll, We may be getting some business here for a small (2" X 2"),ceramic substrated, double-sided SMT assembly. I've done ceramic substrates with SMT in the past, but not double-sided, and as packed as this thing will be... My question is, can

We have used scribed ceramic from CoorsTek for many years with no problem. You will have to control your scribe depth so not to break it during processing. If you have any more question you can e-mail me.

Steve, Depending on the type of equipment you are using for P&P you may want to consider placing and processing the substrates in Auer boats. I have provided many applications for ceramic substarate users using purchased Auer boats or machined palle

When it works right, it's a beautious thing. => When goes wrong, you have one board with some of the other board's material, not too coo. Scribed and broken ceramic has bad-butt sharp edges. You'll feel this sticky stuff on your hands, look down,

Wanted to know if there was a good "to go by" tip other than the customers(if it helps current req.,10% of 30% of trace) requirements, about pits in the traces on copper plated ceramic substrates? More to the point how many is too many regardless of

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has experience of printing solder paste on to 2x2" ceramic substrates.. At present we are using a very old de haart printer with a mesh emulsion screen.. I am looking to replace this with a more reliable mo

Phil, I used to print solder paste on 2" X 2" and 3" X 3" 96% Alumina substrates all the time. I used standard solder printers and stencils. Screens are difficult to use and don't print well. You can use a stencil on a DeHart, CW Price, or AMI Pr

Hi, I was wondering if there is a preferred source of the .635mm ceramic substrate specified in the J STD 002 Test S and if there is what is the typical size folks are using (3" x 3"?). Thanks, Rich

Hi, could anyone tell me the maximum size of an SMD ceramic capacitor that can be assembled on a copper based substrate reliably? The SMD will be reflowed on the copper substrate. The main concern is the CTE mismatch between the ceramic capacitor and
