Morning All, I have to choice between two axial through hole machines: Panasert AVK 3 and Universal VCD Sequencer 8. I will insert axial components with 0,45 mm to 0,8 mm component lead diameter and perform jumper wire insertion in the same machine.

we have 3 Rad 8's and never use the verifer cause its too bloody slow.Why bother u cant verify parts being placed on a chip shooter so if your operator takes the same care when loading a reel there should be no need to verify.

You want approximately 5 particles minimum across the smallest aperture. So in the case of a 0.8mm device, we use .017" pads with a round 0.020" aperture on a 6 thou thick stencil foils. Here, 0.020" diameter equals 0.50mm. This gives us 0.50/5=10

I am aware that the Intel processor is available in a 0.012" leadframe, as a TAB product ( which can be excised and placed with may P&P machines but I do not know of any 0.008" leadframes, Bumped Die are at these pitches and frankly I would bet dime
