I am looking for input on good blacklight to inspect silicon coating coverage on PCB's. This inspection is visual. Any advice or recommendations on lamps or bulbs?

I am not familiar with a WOOD light. The TDS for this material says it fluoresces under UV light....

WOOD Light, if fluorescent lamp you can use TL-08 color. (Philips, Osram, Tunsgram, etc) GS

We use a Luxo handheld magnifier that has both UV and white light built in. You can get one from Techni-Tool (p/n 516IN401) or HMC Electronics (p/n 16401).

I have seen a configuration with a lows type blacklight mounted inside of a smaller cardboard box/ depending on the size of your board, that may work.

You can buy bulbs for any T8 T10 fixure. You can buy black light bulbs or white uv bulbs and just pop them in. There should be a bulb supplier in your city that has them.

Wood or Black Light is the common way to call that UV ligth used ie. inside "disco" and used for many applications like to activate the fluorescent particels contained by conformal coating material,adhesives, paper money, etc. Any way ask for TL-08
