Hi Guys, I have few question would like to ask regarding pcb conformal coating: 1. Can I know which masking material is the best for easy apply, fast cure, fast & easy to remove after coating & baking. And no chemical reaction which will whiten the

Hi All, Recently we are working on the conformal coating process using Humiseal chemical 1B73 and thinner 521. Bubbles on component body/joints are seen after gone through the IR Reflow Oven. During the conformal coating, only tiny bubbles seen af

We're not familiar with your DYMAX #984-LVUF. The problem is not with your conformal coating. The problem is with your 0805 [and not all of 0805, probably just those from a specific supplier]. This lack of coverage of components is called dewetting

I use conformal coating DYMAX #984-LVUF and I don't know if it's a problem of viscosity but 0805 components are not covered properly. We use a dispensor to applied it and we cured it by UV. Even if I apply a thicker layer, the coating seems to have

There's some nice low-VOC uV coatings out there. We dont use uV cured coatings, but try: * http://www.emersoncuming.com * http://www.dymax.com * http://www.mgchemicals.com * http://www.loctite.com * http://www.humiseal.com Be aware that uV co

Dave, Few questions concerning your Umiseal 1B73. To cure your Acrylic coating do you respect specification ( 2Hrs-170degree F) or you go faster than that? What do you use to cure it? Do you have to clean your nozzles each day or each monday beca

Hi, 1. we use John C. Dolph company - AC-46 on production line. I dont get any benefits advertising this on forum (but I`d wish to ;) 2. we use stickers, or other hand made tools to cover areas from AC-46 - it depednds on need for project.
