Optimize the pcb assembly layout can enhance the performance of the converter for switch-mode converters, excellent PCB layout is critical to the performance of the best system. If the pcb assembly layout is poorly designed, it may result in the fol

What's the name of the machine that transmitt programs to the MCS, or how can I import through floppy?

Electronics Forum | Sat Sep 21 17:38:31 EDT 2013 | rmitchell

A PC or computer? Just kidding. Years ago, when I was young you could use a floppy disc and transfer the ascii files at your PC to the disk and then convert them to binary Fuji format on the MCS-16 and MCS-30. You may have to format and then prepa

SN100C vs. SAC 305 wave soldering

Electronics Forum | Fri Mar 03 13:44:36 EST 2006 | Jon Provost

We switched to Sn100C on 2 waves and kept one with SAC305. The SAC305 will be converted to SN100C as soon as the Aim rep. delivers it next week.

The story so far!

We are an OEM and we were about 75% converted to lead free. Very few of our customers showed any interest in ROHS compliant products and none of our competitors were doing it either. We had a few field failures that may have been related to the hig

Re: You choose: F4G or MCS-30

switch ALL your CAD/programming activity to F4G (throw away your current SW) --> buy a MCS-30, which you will use only to transmit programs to machines. Or does anybody know about a third-party SW that produces Fuji programs in CCIMF format? Or a co

Hi Marcelo The two machines I mentioned are the American type but they have an internal transformer fitted to convert from 110 to 220 Volts for U.K. Incidentally only one of the machines does it on a regular basis whilst the other one is mostly O.K

Switching to SN100C in wave solder machine

Electronics Forum | Sun Nov 27 05:04:02 EST 2016 | pmcg

Never used stainless pots as when we converted to lead free we changed all the pots to titanium. Been using SN100C for many years now, very good results, also use it in reel form in our selective solder machines with great results. Bear in mind the

Re: Looking for a de-taping machine!

Electronics Forum | Tue Jun 16 23:20:45 EDT 1998 | Scott McKee

| We have a need for a de-taping machine that will take components (SOIC8, 14, 16) from carrier tape and into tubes. Please contact me if you have a system or know of one that we can purcahse. | Thanks! | Diane... Wow, that's a switch; I've been loo

Immersion White Tin

Solderability!!! The CM in question has probably seen too many solder problems with White Tin in the past. We have had the same issues. To save us from spending too much time and money(verifying pure Tin plating thickness, Chemical leaching from th

Surfacemount Can Capacitors

You will not see any reduction in quality. Some of the only reasons to hold off on converting to SMD packaging is Cost and availability. The cost normally runs about 30% more and the lead times are about 2 times as long for SMD. For that reason you w
