I have a couple of questions about the SMEMA conveyor (standard 1.2); I posted the question to them but had no answer. SMEMA says: 5) Maximum gap. The maximum gap between the in-line machine track ends is 0.375 I would suppose this gap refers to th

We are designing a new in-line inpsection station for PCBAs and I am a little confused about how to interpret two the Mech. Interface standards in SMEMA 1.2 (items 5 and 6). What is exactly meant by "maximum gap"? Does this get at the distance betw

We installed a fixed distance optical sensor above the conveyor rail and "wired it" throught he machines terminal bus to cut the pump on only when a board was present at the pot. We also installed a timer in line so the pump would only stay on long e

| Howdy, | Is anyone using Seho? Need to know more about 7000 series machines with nitrogen and ultrasonic fluxer capabilities. Any shortcomings (I can't see them)? What are the positives, beside those obvious? | Earl Moon I have a 7240n2-F. I have

150*C/min * Determining the distance it takes to lower the delta temperature at the current conveyor speed: [150*C/min]/[25 inch/min] = 6*C/inch * Calculating how much of this 6*C/inch would be spread along the length of the 0805 capacitor: [6*C/inch

Tom, Mount one sensor at about 6 inch inside of the beginning of the oven conveyor and use its output as ready to accept the board signal. That 6 inch distance will give you timing and space between two boards entering in the oven. Tushar

Included screenshots from DEK manual, outlining stencil depth adjustment. Basically, distance from rear of the stencil to the front of the image is value needed to be set on scale when positioning stencil. There is an other way to adjust stencil, by

I thought Contact Length refered to the travel distance the board stays in contact with the solder. I measured it using a tempered glass plate that also showed me if I had an even footprint of contact with the wave. By this definition, conveyor spe

This depends on how the software of your particular machine was written (designed) to handle local fids. Most machines do not have a requirement about the position of the local fids. The purpose of local fids are the same as global fids. All the p
