We started getting better reflow after rotating the pcb to locate the greater mass closer to the center of the oven. However we still leave space between panels on the conveyor to achieve a better reflow. This costs us production time. I'm simply lo

Hi Dave F, Tried to use Contaval Pallets but it only worsens the situation. Prior to the retrofit of the Edge Hold Conveyor, our oven profiles were running well. It is probably due to the retrofit as it made the pcb 30mm farther from the bottom heat

Warpage factors can cause: 1. Boards can not transfer down conveyor belts or wedge at transitions. 2. May not enter into machinery due to interferences (like board clamps) 3. May fall off conveyor chain in furnace. Especially true of thin (PCMCI

Common problem. Start at the Encoder and measure the 5v square wave. Trace it back to the Frequency to Analogue converter, then to the controler. I assume that your conveyor is in good shape. i.e. With the motor disconnected, the chain should flow f

Get ahold of symbol technologies. They have scanners that you can mount to anything. You should be able to mount it on a conveyor with a bracket that allows you to slide it back and forth and rotate as required in about 10 sec. Russ
