CP6/7 feeders are mechanical indexing machines, and the springs, cams etc wear over time leading to misfeeds & increased attrition. You can just strip & repair but especially on the 8x2 feeders the pick up position is critical. John, I'd check with

Yes 0402 8X4 embossed feeders exist for Panasonic MSR, Universal GSM, Contact Systems, and Mimot for sure. In the old days of 0402 components, 0402 resistors used to come in 8X4 paper tape but now I think most 0402 resistors and capacitors come in 8

Look on the serial number on the body of the feeder. If it starts with "W" it is a CP6 feeder. If it starts with "K" it is for the CP7. It really doesn't matter for which machine, it all depends on the bucket style feeder. If the feeder is a bucket s

Correct....if the feeders you purchased have 7" pans then they will work fine on a CP-6 or CP-7. If the pans are 13" and they are truly CP-6 feeders, they won't work on a CP-7. If you need to change out your pans I can help. I have a bunch of 13"
