The published Fuji CP6 placing accuracy specification is plus/minus .1mm I would say that your machine is running just fine.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for help with placement issue on our cp6 Fuji. On occasion we have to adjust co ordinates on the x and y axis usually about 0.12mm. Ball screw was replaced did not fix issue. Anything else we could try. Thanks everyone

Linux, The amount of error that you are describing is about the thickness of a human hair. Unless you are placing 0201's I can't understand why .12 is an issue. There are many factors that can effect placement accuracy on a CP6 For instance: 1. M

I once had a very similar problem on a cp-643. Turned out that 2 shaft assemblies needed to be replaced. I still know where to get some new shaft's really cheap, if that's your problem.

Might seem too simple but make sure your fids are defined and locking on correctly. Also, run frequent center checks on your nozzles.

Rob, .06mm to .1 mm is slicing the bologna pretty thin. Grab ahold of your placement shafts and physically pull back and fourth on them. There should no play. There are also sliders at station 1 and the placing station 11.(I think 11 is place) Make
