If I had a choice I would choose a CP642 90% of the time. The loading system on the 643 can load 2 PCBs at the same time but is complicated. If 2 seconds on PCB load time is critical on your production choose the 643, if not, choose the 642.

Depending on what you are doing, feeder cost usually outweighs the price of the pick and place machines. I have worked with almost all of the Fuji CP turret machines. I haven't touched any of the new stuff but I have seen it in person and it is impr

To get beyond the 36,000 cph threshhold the turret manufacturers had to focus on ways to get the boards in and out of the machine faster. This also included loading more boards inside the worknest. The end result in Fuji's case (CP-643), was a table

Don't have a CP7 but I think it has the same loader as a CP643. There are about 15 different sensors that have to be made for the loader and carriers to work properly. Are you doing dual board load ?

The proper method is to load a flat plate into the X-Y-Z table. The plate size should be as large as the largest board you run. Indicate the entire area of the plate with a dial indicator. I don't remember the exact spec, but try to stay within .2mm.
